A massive congratulations to our 12s for their win on grand final day and our womens for 6 years in a row Thank you to all volunteers today especially Dan for his announcing all day. 21.01.2022 Congratulations to Dan who is our Volunteer of the week. For those who are unaware, Dan is our Current Junior Vice President and MC as well as DJ at Home Games. Previously over the years Dan has been 14's Coach, 14's Manager, Downlands 17's Coach, Darling Downs Demons 17's Coach, Head Recruiter for TAFC & Dedicated Bus Driver for Downlands Boarders, Head Coach 19's Female Darling Downs Lions Academy and 2019 Talent Official of the Year. So Dan has not just been a contributor... to our club but he has helped many young players over the years through Darling Downs, Lions Academy and Downlands College. Thank- You for your contributions each week as well as previously over the years Dan. Without volunteers like Dan helping out each week we would not be able to play this great game of AFL each week or be as successful at the club as what we are. TAFC appreciates all volunteers and we are proud to be the Best Family Orientated Club on the Downs.

14.01.2022 SENIOR MENS COACHING ANNOUNCEMENT Toowoomba AFC are excited to announce our Senior Men’s Head Coach for the 2021 Season, Andrew Farr. We welcome Andrew Farr back to the club which he has been involved in for many years including coaching the Senior Men’s Side to 3 Premierships in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Farr is also a Life Member of the Club. He brings immense football experience and knowledge back to the Darling Downs. ... He has extensive coaching experience including premiership successes at Toowoomba AFC in 2010-2012, he has continued with success after success Coaching 5 of 7 teams to premiership success. Some of the clubs of his coaching journey included Sherwood AFC Seniors Reserves and Under 18’s, Country Kookaburras and Toowoomba Rams Under 18’s (before they became Toowoomba Crows). Farr is looking forward to the 2021 season with Toowoomba AFC to be able to guide our Younger players to grow and improve, create a great club culture and bring back success and structure to our Senior Side. 07.01.2022 NEW TAFC LIFE MEMBER Toowoomba AFC are proud to present our newest Life Member Neville Jericho. Neville was also the recipient for the 2020 ‘Shane & Tina Andrews Club Person of the Year’ Award. ... Neville has been involved in the club since early 2010’s taking on Coaching the Under 14’s Stingers and President of the Toowoomba East Stingers before the merge to become Toowoomba AFC. Over the years Neville has been instrumental in many grant successes including the Electronic Scoreboard and the fence surrounding Rockville oval. Neville has had a massive role in creating and shaping Toowoomba AFC’s media including Senior photography, game video recording/uploading and scoreboard animation. He has served the Club as President for multiple years and has been heavily involved in the committee and around the club. Neville has played a massive and important role in starting the Women’s side at TAFC and coaching the Women’s TAFC side to SIX Successful years resulting in 6 Premierships. Knowing that Abdullah played with our Under 12s last season, we feel it's appropriate to share yesterday's QPS missing person's post with our Tiger's community. This year we are proud to announce that we will be working under the guidance of Gio and Premier Conditioning for our Strength and Conditioning. Training will be held on: Tuesday: Conditioning - Rockville Oval starting at 5:45 pm Wednesday: Strength - Premier Conditioning @ 55 Bellevue Street 6:30 pm Start Thursday: Skills - Rockville Oval starting at 5:45 pm. All Past, current and new Senior Men’s and Women’s players are invited to attend. Training will continue regularly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s after the starting date of 19/01/2021.
