25.01.2022 Guess where I’m heading early Tuesday morning? I started making these cookies to post to friends & get a call mid afternoon on Monday to pop in - perfect timing to deliver these in person. ... Timing worked out perfectly when I was trying to make a surprise care pack for my work colleagues & ended up going back to work for the *first* day since this crazy pandemic turned life upside down. We finally opened the doors to the public again just yesterday & wow there’s some amazing and new changes. Lots of exciting things yet to come & we’re now stocking lots of amazing food in store so when it’s safe to, be it online or in store, head to Chef's Hat for amazing hospitality supplies for home or work. It was so great seeing everyone again - even though it was a super crazy day, i don’t have words to express how amazing it was to see these faces again for the first time since March. Thank you for having me back at work & I’ll look forward to banter and laughs with you all again. x

Growing up, never having sisters to not only have the best sister in law, but her two younger sisters are just as wonderful, strong - inspirational, intelligent, funny and kind women. Today is your special day & whilst we’re all in ISO, I hope it’s been a day filled with love, happiness, relaxation and a wee cake to tide you over until we have a proper belated catch up with family. 17.01.2022 Last weekend we celebrated two milestone birthdays at work & ISO parties aren’t the best, so the best thing is to share little mini desserts to treat the boys & crew to give us a wee pick me up in the form of sugar. 13.01.2022 Happy birthday to ME! What a bizarre year it’s been. I feel like it was just May last week and now it’s almost August! I’ve learnt a lot about myself this year.. and that it’s okay to not be okay sometimes. I thought about whether I should share this or not, but I think it’s important. ... I did make made time to learn new things, start a fundraising project to help people in the community, caring for those that are most important & missing family like crazy. It’s been challenging that’s for sure, but it’s not all doom and gloom. Relationships with friends and family have strengthened, better communication, being more patient than I thought possible... really listening and support one another with such genuine warmth that I hope will continue after covid. Thank you for all my lovely birthday messages & presents, for following my baking adventures, for kind messages and making me laugh & all your support over the last couple months. I can’t tell you how appreciative I am of local support and warmth. Stay safe, be kind to yourself and I hope you know you can reach out for a chat (or baked goods) if you need a friendly ear or sugar fix. Much love Xx

07.01.2022 'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse; The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,... In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there... This was a really fun order I made for my manager that loves @timburton. I thought it would be appropriate to post these on Christmas Eve to wish you all a lovely night with your loved ones however you start the festive season. 06.01.2022 Last Sunday week these tiny cookies went into lots of awesome desserts packs for Twisted Dessert Bar Located in Geelong, these guys are cheering up people in the local community with lots of amazing cakes, cookies, and lots of other pastries in Covid ISO time. If you’re in the local area, or popping through Geelong, don’t forget to visit and grab some take away desserts! I do apologise for the delayed post, my last few weeks have been really stressful and surprising. I...’m trying to be kind to myself and sdvoided social media for a little while. 04.01.2022 I’m sorry I haven’t posted much lately, it’s been a bit of a bit of a weird last two weeks for everyone and I haven’t felt much like baking or decorating if I’m really honest. I’ve had a pretty challenging week just past, but coming to the weeks end, the last couple of days have been pretty positive. I was lucky enough to have some great friends and people in beer community help me with a big project to feed those doing it tough. I thought I’d re-post these Colonia...l Brewing Co Port Melbourne Mini Chocolate Mud Tinny cakes to celebrate the week just passed and how well Go Feed Me went with their help. I made these cakes 1 1/2 years ago - they’re not perfect and I’d probably like the challenge to remake them to look a little cleaner now that I have time on my hands. It’d be nice to see how far I’ve come with cake decorating & if I can make these look more realistic. I wanted to dedicate this post to thank Colonial Brewing Co for their massive donation of 300 beers to cheer up some out of work hospos. I also thank the crew for taking time out of their day to help me deliver food around Metro Melbourne. The best thing about the craft beer community is that they are genuinely great people that have not only been so welcoming to me & so supportive of one another and got behind a big community project. It’s surprising taken a long time to actually meet Mazen, but I am very lucky to call him a friend. 02.01.2022 Cookie Showdown theme was Boho Theme was revealed when we opened the box together live & got 4 random cookie canvas which included a dog face, a Stetson hat, a dog paw and a Kaa-Pow star which we had to decorate within an hour. We mixed a max of five colours before the competition & had to make the colours work to the theme and our styles as best we could. ... Photos taken, will be uploaded to a survey link soon and ready for public votes. Thanks to all friends that came online to watch & for all the supportive words of encouragement- seriously big enough time. 02.01.2022 The last 5 months really has flipped my life upside down and back again. I experienced one of the most horrific experiences in my life and I couldn’t thank @ambulancevic + The Royal Melbourne for their amazing work and dedication. There are no words to express my most humble gratitude for your compassion, care and support. - Due to lockdown I wasn’t able to deliver directly to the emergency, BAU and drug & alcohol specialists but I hope they made it to you through the front... reception. I made a big batch of these to say a big thank you to the Emergency & BAU department to thank them for getting us through a tough time & decided to also share them with others on the front line too. Top to bottom, left to right is Julius (Nurse Unit Manager), Lien, Lawrence & Shannon - not to forget on the next photo is the wonderful Rosie. These a few of the faces of crew on the front line that are working incredibly hard at The Northern Hospital. I also sent some care packs to my friends loved ones that are working at Epworth and other crucial medical practices. I hope these mini cookies are a small way to make you smile in a quiet moment.
