20.01.2022 It is with great sadness that we share news of the passing of much loved Valleys premiership great Paul Richards. Paul is seated on the right of captain-coach R...oss Strudwick in both these photos, the first from1980 and the second, Valleys' 1979 team photo, which commemorates the resounding 26-0 over Souths in the BRL grand final. During our work on Wally Lewis's soon-to-be-released autobiography, "Wally Lewis: My Life", the King often spoke fondly of Paul and asked me to say the following about his popular teammate - "Paul's on-field performances might have been impressive, but it was his determination to ensure all his teammates were happy that stays with me. I never heard him complain once although occasionally he felt he'd let his teammates down. Paul Richards never ever let his teammates down. He was a champion team man, one of the old school hookers when the position was one of the most critical on the field. Just a great human being. VALE Paul Richards

Many who I showed the book didn't even notice - but I did. The books are being reprinted and all issues addressed. I know I'll cop some pushback for yet another delay, but this has been a painstaking effort over four years and I won't produce a book for you that has been in any way compromised. 04.01.2022 Thank you to the community for your assistance in identifying those responsible for damaging the golf course recently. We need your help once again. Unfortunat...ely over the weekend, we had 2 of the flag poles stolen and our on course toilet trashed. We also have teenagers who have set up camp near the 4th fairway. The course is private property and any unauthorised access will be referred to the police.
