17.01.2022 A beautiful custom piece I just wrapped up and off to her forever home! I’m bloody obsessed with this design (over 3kg of cord used - second largest wall hanging I’ve ever done) and I am absolutely going to be making one with some customisation for my house with @marymakerstudio new recycled cotton - now to just choose a colour! 06.01.2022 Hello, you pretty thing! With the warmer weather coming, it’s been getting harder and harder each day to deal with this Vic lockdown that has seemed to last a lifetime. I took a short break this week to just take some time out, as I’ve been blessed enough to work this entire time - however, with my days consisting of work, work, work, eating and sleeping, it’s become incredibly monotonous day-after-day, week-after-week. I know there’s been days (more so as of late) where ...I’ve had to pull myself out of a rut and really force myself out of bed, and I’m sure there’s so many of us in the same boat. With health and fitness a huge part of my life (and identity) since I was in my early teens, it’s been a shocking change to try and adjust without my usual outlet. I’m also now blessed enough to have a little gym set up, but it took its bloody time to get here! It’s really made me strip my achievements back and just focus on the little things, like making my bed everyday, drinking enough water, having a bath, reading a book, even a 15 minute walk (or sometimes 2 hours ) or just cuddling my puppies, has helped to ease the stifling affects of isolation. This is just a little reminder that you are loved, we will see a better time, and today is a new day. One step at a time. Rach
