21.01.2022 Today our outgoing G.A Mr Chris Stilgoe and our Elder in Resident Uncle Russ, installed these AMAZING sculptures Uncle Russ made in the yarning circle out the f...ront of the school. The story behind these sculptures are: Marrungbaa Nyiirunba Burraydjar (Special place for our children) For thousands of years, Biripi Barray (country) has provided our people with knowledge, culture and respect. Our country is nyiirunba ngaya (our mother) and these three sculptures represent these paternal qualities through portraying the importance of a safe, caring and nurturing environment that is inclusive of everyone. A place as such, is a special place for our children. See more

19.01.2022 Here’s a lovely shot from Goodstart Early Learning Taree The painting is called ‘Mother & Baby on Country’ by one of our artists Raechel Saunders, hanging on the wall like it has always been there. In Raechel’s words: .I love seeing our creations go out into the world, businesses, and people’s homes. ... How fitting that this one wound up where it did. I hope that it brings a sense of connectedness to each other and the land, and a feeling of caring & community to all that see it. From the littlest to the oldest . Caring for our children is a core part of our survival. I respect and give honour to the hard working and compassionate women and men who work so hard caring for and teaching our children. We are so happy to see local businesses sharing Aboriginal art and culture. . 40cm diameter stretched canvas, acrylic paint
