17.01.2022 The Deerubbin LALC congratulates the Weilmoringle Aboriginal community on its partnership with Murdi Paaki Housing and the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment (DPIE) that has installed high quality solar power systems and air conditioners on the community’s homes. The Deerubbin LALC will be talking to DPIE later in 2020 to consider bringing the program to Western Sydney.

11.01.2022 The Deerubbin LALC would like to thank the Aboriginal Employment Service (Penrith Office) for their kind donation of these care packs. They will be distributed to Deerubbin LALC active members. The Deerubbin LALC will provide its active members with further healthcare packs in response to the Covid 19 pandemic shortly. The Deerubbin LALC continues to respond cautiously and mindfully to the Covid 19 pandemic.

08.01.2022 Repairs are well underway on the Deerubbin LALC’s Parramatta Gaol site, Education Building. The building will be the DLALC’s Parramatta branch office, bringing us closer to our work in the Parramatta area. #parramattagaol

08.01.2022 The Deerubbin LALC has been focused on a careful, safe and respectful response to the Covid 19 pandemic since early March 2020. Recently the Deerubbin LALC distributed 50 ‘Covid 19 care packs’ to member families. The attached photos illustrate the care packs. The care packs were developed by the Deerubbin LALC’s Family and Community Sub-committee with the full support of the Deerubbin LALC Board. We hope to be able to provide continuing support and care to our members during the ongoing pandemic.
