23.01.2022 During the First World War, red poppies were among the first plants to spring up in the devastated battlefields of northern France and Belgium. We continue to use the poppy today as a symbol of remembrance for those who have been lost in the line of duty. Lest we forget

21.01.2022 Lots of people have added a new fur baby to their families over the past few months during the pandemic. It was the perfect time to stay home and train them and make sure they got the best start to life. Now that we are slowly returning to normal and your pet is alone more often, you may notice some signs that your furry family member is struggling to adjust to the changes. If you have any concerns about your pets experiencing anxiety, book a consultation with us today

13.01.2022 Due to the current restrictions in place, we have again increased our safety measures in clinic. At this time we are only able to offer clients essential veterinary services including the alleviation of conditions causing animals pain, distress or illness. We ask that you phone ahead so that our nurses can assess your situation and secure you an appointment time if necessary.... If you are coming in for an appointment, our door will be locked. We ask that you remain in your vehicle and call the clinic when you arrive. One of our team members will be out to bring your pet inside and your appointment will be conducted over the phone with the Veterinarian. If medication is needed, the nurse will bring them out to your car along with your pet. We apologise for any inconvenience caused while we try to navigate the current situation.

13.01.2022 The answer to yesterday's who am I is.. A Dachshund! That one was a little tricky, who got it right?

10.01.2022 It’s important to remember all pets are individuals. A diet that may be fine for your friend’s pet may be completely inappropriate for your pet! Some breeds and sizes are predisposed to certain things and feeding to these needs can help diminish this. When it comes to a daily diet for your pet, it’s important to consult with your vet team about the best options tailored to your pet.

10.01.2022 With the weather heating up and restrictions easing, many families with furry family members are getting back into nature and taking their dogs out with them. This raises the question of how to safely take your dog on a hike. https://bestforpet.com.au/so-youre-taking-your-pet-on-a-hi/

04.01.2022 It's warming up and our pets might need more water than usual to keep them cool and hydrated. Some signs of overheating in pets may include: Panting Lack of coordination Lethargy

02.01.2022 Things are heating up! Remember that our pet's paws are sensitive to heat the same way our feet are! If you're unsure if the pavement is too hot to walk on, put your hand to the pavement for five seconds, if it's too hot for you, it's too hot for your dog!
