25.01.2022 After a year where challenges keep appearing almost weekly, we decided that this week will be our school's Mental Health Week. This will give our beautiful kids the opportunity to refresh their minds, release any internal pressure and have fun with their mates and teachers. Today we have kicked the week off with a PJ Movie Day. So many relaxed children recovering with their friends. Thanks to Lesley Gilbert for sending in a sneaky container of chocolate brownies for the staff to help their mental health as well.

24.01.2022 Today we welcomed the Jindabyne Sport and Rec Crew and their Outreach Program. Our kids were treated to a day of fun, team building activities and games to support our recovery from this years traumas. We can’t thank them enough for coming to visit us and we can’t wait for our second session early next term.

22.01.2022 Providing opportunities for our students is always paramount for staff here at Delegate PS. Last week we took possession of a STEM Kit on loan for the remainder of the year from the Department of Education. Its safe to say, the kids loved having their first go at using the Robotics Equipment. They were required to work in small groups to code and create a path for their robot to move. Lots of success.

21.01.2022 Wishing our wonderful Year 6 students and their mighty teachers a terrific time on time on their Magical Mystery Tour as they set out early this morning on the first leg .

13.01.2022 Tomorrow both our classes will be involved in an Art Therapy program called Rising from the Ashes and delivered by Jessica Luppi as part of our Bushfire Recovery. Part of the artwork will consist of using local leaves, bark, sticks and seed pods. What a great activity for our kids to improve mental health. And we didn’t even have to leave our school.

04.01.2022 Afternoon all, big week ahead for us all. I can't wait, as it is going to be such a great trip for our wonderful kids. Don't forget to pack the items I inadvertently left off the list. Swimming clothes for both part 1 and 2 of the trip, towels, sleeping bag and own pillow. Bus leaves at 7:00am sharp, so please be at school at 6:45am. We have no time to wait for late arrivals as we have to be at our first activity by 9:00am. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Brad
