23.01.2022 Dalby Welcoming Community is bringing back Conversations in English! This is a group where newcomers to Australia in Dalby & Surrounds, including local volunte...ers come together to make a real effort to understand each other. It’s a supportive, non-judgemental environment, where we can all learn from each other and understand English and other languages The group aims to help you to: build confidence in social and work situations make new friendships help reduce stress, shyness or nervousness due to difficulty with English Sessions take the format of informal get togethers via Zoom video at the moment (until Social Distancing is no longer required) with varying themes and activities such as: Themed conversation sessions Small or large group work Games and activities If you would like to be a part of this group let us know! 16.01.2022 Feeling a little sad we’re not to going to enjoy the Delicious foods or Delightful entertainment at the Festival this year? Well, we have decided to create some weekly Isolation Challenges for everyone to try with a bit of a theme for our Festival to keep us all entertained! #recipechallenge ... Our first Challenge will be to show us your favourite traditional recipe, or a family favourite You can post a video on how to make it if you like or simply provide a recipe and image! We can’t to see what you will share, we hope to see dishes from lots of different cultures too! #DDDFisolationchallenge

11.01.2022 Hi All we asked Dalby Delicious n Delightful Festial to donate part of our fee to a 'help the farmers' charity & they've donated another $200 in our name on t...op of that so thankyou DDD that's awesome! Lots of farmers are doing it tough in the droughts & the Drought Angels are calling for more donations. If you know of any farm people struggling, let them know they can get help by registering on the Drought Angels website & the D Angels will contact them. Thank you

We are living in very challenging times and the group felt it was the right decision for our community at this time. Our group thinks this is a great opportunity to make the Festival bigger and better in 2021. ... To do this we would like your input. Give us your ideas on what you would like to see and do at our Delicious and DeLIGHTful Festival in 2021! Let’s come back Bigger, Better Brighter and more Delicious than ever before!
