25.01.2022 What do you do when you have to cancel your special birthday party because of the covid 19 Virus? This happened to a customer of mine, so I offered to make her a smaller cake just so she could have a nice cake on her birthday and this is what I came up with. Enjoy your special day Deanne and enjoy your cake. I look forward to being able to make the cake you originally chose once all this madness is over.

24.01.2022 Well what a year 2020 has been. It sees our first year of making many beautiful creations and memories for you celebrating your special occasions. I would like to thank each of you for choosing Deliciously Frosted and allowing me to be part of your special day. 23.01.2022 I had fun creating this lovely cake for a 70th birthday with shades of purple, painted gold leaves & etchings and finished with a buttercream rose. I’m loving the creativity aspects of cake decorating, there is always something new to try or experimenting with different mediums to see what you can come up with. I just love the look of this cake.
23.01.2022 Cake 5 An Irish theme Black Forest cake with cherries, chocolate ganache & shaved chocolate between the layers, the cake was then covered with chocolate ganache & marbled fondant. A handmade pot of gold and some four leaf clovers completes this cake. We hope you had a lovely belated birthday celebration Anne and you enjoyed your cake.

14.01.2022 Cake number 2 for the week was a challenge of combining these two cake ideas into one cake. (Pics 1 & 2 not my cakes by the way). Pictures 3 & 4 showing the end result. I think there will be one happy 21st gamer recipient of this cake tonight.

12.01.2022 A gamer’s delight, combining PlayStation & Xbox theme with a light up X. That’s right I incorporated lights that could be turned on to glow green to light up the X in the dome on the side of the cake. Had some trouble finding a small enough dome for the size cake ordered but I don’t think it turned out too bad. Happy 25th Birthday Adam.

08.01.2022 Cake 4 We cater for all needs as was this special cake. A gluten & lactose free chocolate cake & Swiss meringue buttercream. This beautiful little 4 cake decorated with handmade flowers & name plaque came up a picture. This cake was for a guest at cake 5’s party who was also having a birthday and they wanted them to feel special too as they often don’t get to have cake because of their intolerances. Happy Birthday Julie, I hope we made you feel special.

05.01.2022 Have a little bit of catching up to do with posting some of the cakes that I've made over the last few months. But thought I'd start with this bright little number that went out today for a very special 1st birthday.
04.01.2022 One of my most requested cakes, chocolate mud cake with fresh cream between the layers, topped with strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and fresh cream. This cake was for Carmen’s Birthday.
03.01.2022 My first cake of 5 to make this month. Happy Birthday Denise Bray, enjoy your party & cake. It’s a pleasure to make this cake for you. With a safari theme this cake has been hand painted. Keep watching for more cakes to come.
03.01.2022 Cake 3 or should I say cakes were based on a donut theme with three ring cakes carefully trimmed up to the shape of donuts, cut in half and filled with a strawberry cream filling, and put backed together, iced and topped with a glaze icing and sprinkles. Add to that 22 cupcakes with sprinkle surprise inside each one. It all came together nicely and looked so yummy the kids couldn’t wait to dig in.
01.01.2022 Throw back to the cake Sharon (Mum) made 6 years ago for my baby shower. 2 layered carrot cake with fondant icing. For as long as I can remember Mum has had a huge love for cake making and decorating. I still remember all my birthday cakes. L x
