19.01.2022 Really looking forward to having Vern with us this year in Albany!!!!

15.01.2022 Here it is, the 2019 Delriium Great Southern Course Preview....and a fine example of why we would NOT hold this event in Albany in July! A couple of notes: Course length should be slightly over 1km... We recorded after sunset to give you all an idea of the lighting around the course. Full front and rear bike lights will still be a requirement, but as you can see 90% of the course is well lit. Our cameraman (thanks Craig Wiggins) replaced his light with our camera for this lap. The course will be fenced, bunted, and poles/furniture protected with padding or bales. Thanks also to the Passmore Cycles WAR crew for coming out to do some laps for us...conditions were sub-ideal ;) REGISTRATIONS will open August the 1st!

14.01.2022 Check out this story from last December on the opening of the new Centennial Park circuit, including a bit of history. We are using a modified version of this track for this year's 2019 Delirium Great Southern 24-Hour Cycle Race! Registrations are OPEN: https://bit.ly/335P8qj

12.01.2022 Great news! Steele Bishop, OAM, Western Australia’s first world cycling champion and the current Masters world record holder, will be in store on Saturday 18th ...May. Steele is a regular visitor to Albany and will be racing with the local cyclists. The amazing stories of Steele’s early career and his recent return to competition cycling after 35 years of retirement, are in his biography, Wheels of Steele The makings of a World Champion. This book is a must read by anyone embarking on life’s journey of ambition, disappointment, success, inspiration, desire and dreams. Phil Liggett, MBE, International cycling commentator Paperbark is hosting the Albany launch with a book signing in store on the 18th May from 10.30am-11.15am.

11.01.2022 We know we've been a bit quiet lately, but do not fear, planning continues. We hope to provide more course details within the week, and get registrations open by the start of August! For those who have competed before, expect similar solo and team options as previous years.

07.01.2022 12/24 Hours of solo riding sound a bit daunting for you? Don't forget you can register as a Duo or Team of Six! Then you just need to decide who is doing the graveyard shift.... Registrations are open: https://bit.ly/335P8qj

05.01.2022 LAST CALL!!!!! Unfortunately current registration numbers are very low...too low for us to run the event we're afraid! Maybe Albany is just too far, or the event is too close to the Tour, but at this point things are looking dicey.... We will make a final assessment next Sunday, but we thought we would get this out there for those who have already registered (THANKYOU!) so you at least have a head's up. If you were sitting on the fence, or waiting till the last minute to register, please get in this week so we can make an informed decision. We have attached the rego link again below. ~Chris and Stuart https://www.registernow.com.au/secure/Register.aspx
