14.01.2022 Zazie Todd of Companion Animal Psychology makes a case for kindness: One of the things I try hard to do with this blog is to stay focused on the positive, the things people need to know, and a belief that they want to learn.

14.01.2022 Delta doing our part to flatten the curve!

14.01.2022 We have some big changes for Delta Institute, with a new strategic direction providing a fresh way forward, including new and exciting courses and training options for dog owners and future dog trainers to be developed. These will reflect the needs of our community who care deeply about the human-animal bond. We will also be saying goodbye to Dr Gaille Perry who will no longer be involved as Director of Studies at the Delta Institute. Gaille has been instrumental in developing and delivering Delta’s companion animal services course which has given many people the opportunity to learn about the importance of positive reward-based training and how the focus on human-animal bond leads to a greater quality of life for both people and their pets. We’d like to thank Gaille for her contribution to this important work.

11.01.2022 "Dogs are also the most tremendous source of comfort and solace. When they tuck themselves into little balls by our side, lay their heads on our shoulders or climb onto our laps, they offer the sort of wordless affection a depressed person might need."
