16.01.2022 One of Australias Largest Sawn Hardwood Stockpiles 6,000* cubic metres of sawn hardwood, recently repacked, comprising predominately of mountain gum (Dalrampleana) with the remainder being narrow leaf peppermint. The Timber is suitable for furniture, architraves, flooring and general building purposes.... Predominantly harvested from the Bago forest area in South Eastern New South Wales, north of the township of Tumbarumba, between October 2003 to 2008. Stocked into lengths varying from 2.4* metres, 2.7* metres, up to 5* metres, with the majority being 4.8* metres. Thickness originally cut to 44* millimetres, to dress to 3 8* millimetres. Industry experts that have inspected the stockpile, predict the timber would still have moisture content between 15 to 19 percent with in excess 90* percent of the total volume considered to be of high-quality. For Sale by Expression of Interest closing Thursday 27 August 2020 at 4pm (AEST). Following on onsite inspection of the timber sample packs can be made available on request.
