23.01.2022 Entries are open for the highly anticipated 2020 City of Busselton Art Award! Traditionally the Art Award was shown in September but this year the Award will be shown in December 2020 and January 2021. A new format for this years award sees the show extending into the entire ArtGeo Cultural Complex. First Prize is $10,000 (acquisitive) + solo exhibition in ArtGeo Gallery (2021). The Leech-Partington Botanical Art Prize is an exclusive Annual Watercolour Art Award dedicated to showcasing Western Australia's unique flora and fungi.... 08.01.2022 Denmark watercolour artists, have you seen this? Entries for The Elaine Bermingham National Watercolour Prize in Landscape Painting are NOW OPEN until 5pm Friday 17 July 2020. This is a unique Triennial Art Prize that aims to celebrate excellence and innovation in the watercolour medium.... This non-acquisitive prize is Open to all Australian Artists over the age of 18 years. Selected finalists will be exhibited in the Grey Street Gallery, located within Griffith Universitys Queensland College of Art at South Bank, Brisbane. The overall winner will receive a $20,000 cash prize generously donated by Elaine Bermingham. Two highly commended prizes of $5,000 each will also be awarded, a substantial increase from the previous time the prize was awarded in 2017.
