24.01.2022 We’re sending good luck and well wishes to 3 of our Senior Riders this week! Georgia O’Meara has been successful in securing a one month trial working for Heath & Rozzie Ryan (Ryan’s Horses) in NSW! Georgia heads off this Wednesday! Heath and Rozzie need no introduction to the equestrian community and this amazing opportunity is testament to Georgia’s passion and commitment! Good luck from your DPC family G! Willow Donohoe is busy preparing for her upcoming C Certificate Sc...hool & Exam. Willow is a hard working and committed senior rider of our club and we wish her the very best for her upcoming assessment! Bridie Johnson is representing us at the PCWA State Eventing Championships this weekend at Capel in the Championship 80. This is Bridies last competition for 2020 and we are all right behind her this weekend! Have the most amazing ride! We’re lucky to have such proactive, committed and passionate senior riders in our club! Our juniors have some amazing mentors and role models to aspire to! Team DPC are with you all the way!

17.01.2022 Brilliant rally today team Denmark Perfect weather , huge improvements and we are loving our new rally shirts! We worked with local Nyoongar Elders to create these shirts that acknowledge the meeting place of our grounds on Boodja and the significance of our local river- Kworabup, which runs along our boundary! Thanks Kim, Sarah and Stephen for coaching today and all of our adult supporters that help the day run so smoothly!

15.01.2022 Dressage is underway, the weather is amazing and the music is pumping! Our Combined Training Final for 2020 and we couldn’t have asked for better conditions

14.01.2022 Our Combined Training Part 2 Competition yesterday was a great success! With over 40 entries from leadline to 1.05 we’d like to thank our dressage judge Virginia Longley and Showjumping judge Peter Cook for seeing us all through safely! Anne Lasini (Rustic Pics) was on hand to capture everyone’s day. So be sure to head over to her website in the coming weeks (especially with Christmas creeping up on us!) The weather couldn’t have been more perfect and the place was buzzing!... Our committee and members kept the cogs turning before, during and after! Chelsea & Di- the canteen was amazing! Sarah & Janine- thanks for keeping us all organised and on time from draw times to scoring! And everyone else in between who helped with set up, pack away, running and just pitching in wherever possible! DPC are really proud of Bridie, Willow, Heidi & Saxon who all represented with great sportsmanship and some super results! A huge thanks to Chelsea, Janine and Bethany who ran our August rally. By all accounts it was a really fun day! Next stop PCWA State Dressage Championships where Bridie and Georgia will fly the flag for our DPC community! It is time to nominate them for the Pony Club Australia Volunteer of the Year award. This award is open to helpers, administrators, Club office holder, official, and any other supporters. Selection criteria: 1. Displays Pony Club values 2. Contribution to development of their Pony Club for the benefit of members 3. Commitment to good governance and professionalism Make sure your comments are detailed and note specific incidents where your volunteer stood out, or specific role they played.
