15.01.2022 Notice for the Price Adjustment for BBQ All-You-Can-Eat Dear Customers, Please accept our sincere thanks for your support since our grand opening in August 2019. It is our strategic goal to offer fresh and quality meat, primarily Wagyu beef, in authentic Japanese taste, whilst at an affordable. Due to such belief, we’ve successfully launched the popular wagyu BBQ buffet starting from $39.90 /$45 p.p since last October. We understand that customers love it due to the good qual...ity meat offered on such a low price menu that it is difficult to find in other Japanese restaurants. We’ve been trying to offer such a low price for more than one year achieved by continuous business improvement processes. But, unfortunately, we recently see a significant and sudden shortage in wagyu beef supply in the market. Such a tight market is primarily caused by the disruptions to the wagyu supply chain brought by COVID-19, lower production volume due to the decreasing export market demands and increasing domestic demands. On top of this, we are also experiencing labour costs increase due to the boarder restrictions. These factors are all beyond our control, as the last option, we have to increase the basic BBQ buffet price by around $5 p.p. Specifically, the new prices effective from 15 December 2020 are as below: BBQ buffet basic package (Monday to Wednesday): $45 p.p BBQ buffet basic package (Thursday to Sunday, public holiday and Christmas & NY period*): $49.90 p.p * Christmas & NY period: 23 December to 6 January Please also kindly note that there is no change to the price of the deluxe BBQ buffet & hot pot buffet. Instead of adopting cheaper meat, this time we choose to increase the price slightly but still insist on using the best possible meat within the budget.
