Following advice from the government we have now eased back into Level 2 restrictions and are able to perform a large range of treatments including all your essential dental needs. We continue to practice the highest standard of care to our patients whilst ensuring diligent infection control measures are in place. If you have any dental concerns, we are here to help you. We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that our dental practice is as always, concerned about your health and the health of your family. We have put some extra precautions in place to safe guard you during this time. All patients are being screened via a phone call prior to their arrival at the clinic and re-scre...ened when arriving for their appointment. We are asking all patients to use hand sanitiser throughout their appointment. Hand sanitiser is available in multiple places in the practice. We always use the best materials and equipment to make sure that our premises are clean and sterile. We are also undergoing extra cleaning, such as wiping down door handles and surfaces after each patient. 13.01.2022 Covid-19 Update We are now practicing at Level 3 Restrictions following advice from the Australian Dental Association. This means we can only treat dental emergencies and urgent dental needs. Both state and federal governments have classified dentistry as essential services. Maintaining the provision of emergency and urgent dental care will allow dentists to continue to provide high quality care for their patients and alleviate the burden that dental emergencies would place o...n hospital emergency departments. Our strict infection control measures continue to be practiced while we treat those that fit the above criteria. All non-urgent appointments are being rescheduled to a later date. 09.01.2022 With current restrictions in place, we are unable to see our patients for scale and cleans So, we thought we would share a dental tip! How you brush your teeth matters a great deal. You should be brushing your teeth methodically, starting at the back, with the bristles at a 45 angle, brushing gently in a circular motion and finishing with a spit, not a rinse!... It is always best to use a soft-bristled toothbrush with a flexible neck and small head because this will be most effective in removing plaque and debris from your teeth, without damaging your teeth and gums. However if you have an electric toothbrush, we recommend guiding the brush head slowly from tooth to tooth, holding the brush head in place for a few seconds against each tooth before moving on to the next one. Follow along with the shape of each tooth and the curve of the gums. We recommend to try an replace your brush at the first sign of wear-and-tear or every three months, whichever comes first, and if you've just had a cold, replace your toothbrush so you don’t get reinfected by the germs in the bristles. Regardless of the brush you use, try to avoid brushing with too much force as this can damage the surface of your teeth! And as for the toothpaste? You only need a pea-sized amount to get the job done. Happy Brushing

This includes the important preventative check and cleans we love to provide While the restrictions have been lifted, we still appreciate everyone's co-operation with our screening process and treatment guidelines, as this will continue to provide safety for our staff and patients....
