18.01.2022 To most people, this is just an x-ray of a front tooth that has had a root canal treatment. But it is getting these little details nailed that truly makes our day! Root canals run inside a tooth and contain the nerves and blood vessels. What most people don't know is that the canal isn't just one single tube. It can be a bit like a river system and have off shoots or tributaries. If you look carefully on the right side of the root canal, you can see that there are small off...-shoots on the side of the main canal, which have been sealed off. Doing this improves the success of the root canal by preventing bacteria from re-entering. Thanks for listening to our nerd moment
