It's for anyone of any age, including children, young people and older adults, whose mental health is suffering because of COVID-19 and its social, emotional and financial impacts. We are urging everyone to continue to visit their healthcare team and have regular healthcare checkups and appointments. Our team of GP's Practice Nurses, Dietician, Diabetic Educator and Podiatrist are all available for appointments. It's safe to visit your GP in person, so don’t wait until you are experiencing complications.

11.01.2022 Introducing Dr Sarah Zhao! Sarah was born in China where she studied medicine and surgery. She moved to Victoria 5 years ago after completion of her PhD of Neuroscience in Sydney. She worked as a general practitioner in the northern suburbs of Melbourne for two years, where she worked alongside Dr Jimmy Huang. Sarah then had further training in Emergency, Mental Health and Paediatrics at Ballarat Hospital. She has a special interest in Women’s and Children’s health and her interests outside of work include jogging, listening to music and travelling. We are excited to welcome Sarah to the team and she is looking forward to providing care to families in our community. Consulting days are Monday to Friday commencing next week.

However, more than 95% of skin cancer cases are caused by unprotected exposure to UV radiation from the sun, meaning it is a nearly entirely preventable cancer! Skin Cancer Awareness Week reminds us to use a combin...ation of sun protection measures: - Slip on sun-protective clothing. - Slop on SPF 30 or higher broad-spectrum, water-resistant sunscreen 20 minutes before going outdoors (reapply every 2 hours). - Slap on a broad-brimmed hat that protects your face, head, neck and ears. - Seek shade. - Slide on wrap-around sunglasses (that meet Australian Standard AS/NZS 1067). 04.01.2022 Our visiting Osteo Anna Wiseman has opened up appointments on Tuesday afternoons, and will continue consulting Friday and Saturday mornings. Anna completed her Bachelor of Applied Science /Bachelor of Health Sciences (Osteopathy) at RMIT. Understanding the uniqueness of each individual, Anna provides tailored rehabilitation and management programs for a range of conditions. Appointments can be made by calling the clinic on 5795 2011.

04.01.2022 Euroa Medical together with Euroa Health are pleased to advise of the new after-hours arrangement for the community replacing the existing Euroa Medical Clinic which was held at Euroa Health every Sunday morning at 9am-11am and on Public Holidays. This new model will commence as of the 1st of February 2021. Euroa Health operates their Urgent Care Centre via Kennedy Street Euroa, and is open and accessible after hours, Sundays and Public Holidays when Euroa Medical Clinic is c...losed. The General Practitioners from Euroa Medical will be available on call to attend the Centre as required. The Urgent Care Centre model is an innovative approach to support the community for immediate care should they become medically unwell overnight and on Sunday’s/Public Holidays. Anyone requiring after-hours assistance can arrive at Euroa Health’s Urgent Care Centre via 36 Kennedy Street Euroa or can telephone ahead on (03) 5795 0200 to be directed to the triage nurse in the hospital, who will advise you of further management and advice and as required call in a GP from Euroa Medical Clinic. This service at Euroa Health does incur an out of pocket fee which is payable to Euroa Health Inc on the day for all patients unless you are a Member of Euroa Health Inc in which case there is no fee for the presentation at the Urgent Care Centre.
