Included in the ticket is: transport in our warm 12 seater bus from Hobart and home again . Relax for a full 8 hours with everything done for you, a better yield than most weekends away.... Beautiful country side to not only look at, but to experience, like easing into a comfy chair. Campfire with mulled wine, hot chocolate and marshmallows A delicious homecooked 3 course homstead meal majority paddock to plate, Vegetarian option available. Weather will be fine, stars should be dazzling (cant guarantee, but very likely) A tasting stop along the way at a Derwent Valleycraft beverage maker. 19.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who has liked our page this year. Social Media is really far down on the list for things I like doing, but as we know its part of life and a big part of how we connect and get messages out. I am really excited about some of the upcoming workshops, tours and experiences such as "HOBART BY NIGHT DARK DELIGHT" on the 19th (next Saturday) and "ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY @ 42 DEGREES SOUTH" the following Satutrday (26th Sept) - both have a few spots left. THE GREAT TAS...MANIAN 36 HOUR CHALLENGE has been postponed and will take place sometime in 2021. Once the dates have been confirmed with my collaborators they will be shared. I'll be doing a reconnaissance shortly on a "EXTRAORDINARY DAY OF UNORDINARY ADVENTURES" and hope to have that as a small group wonder day soon. A brief insight is Flyfishing at dawn on a Highland Lake followed by a 2-3 hour Hike, then some Mountain Biking at Maydena Bike Park and finally a round of Golf at Ratho Farm. This will be a cracking day for the high energy adventure enthusiast seeking something different. And lots more in the Pipeline. Team Building Activities for groups up to 11 is my sweet spot. 16.01.2022 Just enjoyed a coffee and introduction with Josh from Eat the Wild. It was really nice to connect with a young man following a similar path and passion as myself. I think his "product" is top notch and will no doubt be very successful. On a side note, I learned today the difference between a Gourmand and a Gourmet. I am the former and Josh is definietly a Gourmet - and for lovers of both fine food and the outdoors has birthed something brilliant and unique. I sense some amazing private dining and outdoor experiences for small groups up to 20 people on the horizon.
