23.01.2022 What a great accomplishment for Desert Sands Mechanical to be nominated for the Mid-West Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Business Excellence Awards. After reading about the way we conduct business, our financials and our future plans we have made it into the finals! Do you want to have the ability to take maximum pride in your work and own field service vehicle? DSM are currently looking for Full Time Heavy Diesel Mechanics for multiple roles, immediate start in the Goldfields, Pilbara and Midwest for 3:1 rosters.... $55/Hr Flat Rate, Full Time. Must be trustworthy, self promoting and maintain a good quality focus. Previous experience employed with an OEM, A/C ticket or worksafe tickets will be advantageous but not necessary. Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing and Medical. 18.01.2022 As some of our followers who know the team personally would already know, we recently had one of our workers fall sick onsite requiring emergency medical treatment. The worker was promptly removed from site after seeing the medic and RFDS'd to Kalgoorlie for treatment. It's because of services like the RFDS that we are able to do what we do in the remote outback of Western Australia. DSM and the worker involved would like to express our sincere thanks to all those involved in... making the service RFDS provides possible. We have made a donation for the use of the service. Thanks again RFDS.

16.01.2022 After sitting through Cyclone Damien in Karratha, we had an opportunity today to get out and inspect the machines onsite in a chopper for the client. Always a great day when a chopper is involved!! Field Service Life is the best life!!... #FieldService
