17.01.2022 Can't wait for this. Last show was brilliant. A must watch. https://www.rideapart.com//charleyboorman-confirms-long-w/

16.01.2022 Now I know why I couldn't get a pie at this iconic bakery https://www.facebook.com/136625126350959/posts/2808198895860222/

14.01.2022 Life's synchronicities. Fenn, the Cameron Corner Store owner was a massive help for the great bunch of biker blokes I met there, especially for injured motorcyclist Pat. Now it's Fenns turn to accept some assistance. If anyone is interested or can help....

09.01.2022 Such sad news to share. Our larger than life friend Fenn from Cameron Corner hotel has sadly passed on. I've been very fortunate to meet Fenn and his lovely wife Cheryl a number of times. Fenn is a great outback character whose massive personality will be sorely missed. Rest in peace

05.01.2022 OMG, I've got stalactites hanging from the ceiling of my swag!! It is flipping freezing here!! I've got thermals, blankets, gloves, socks, and scarves! Need a beanie! Wow. Well, this is from where I'm meant to be getting a flight over Lake Eyre. I've booked it, 7am flight. Also found out that the media have hyped this up to the hilt. The lake is less than 40% full and only has water in the very northern section. Not to worry, still keen. Just gotta wait a couple of days beca...use they're fully booked. I decide to help out ol' mate in the Caravan Park and watch the fort while he collects firewood. "I'll only be 2 hours." Famous last words. MIA for hours! I hung around for 2 days, only to find out that I had not been booked on any flight. One agent says they can't get me on for another 3 days, another says in a day. Yet it's all with one company. Not happy Jan. But I did have a good couple of days in Marree - a camp oven damper, and fish and chips. Unfortunately, I had to miss out on taking a flight over Lake Eyre, even though it's the main reason I came here. Lucky for me, I flew over Lake Eyre in 2000 when there was heaps of water. I'm just glad I took the long short cut through outback NSW, SA and QLD to get here. For me, it's about the journey, not the destination. Everyone I've met along the way has added a new dimension to my life. I thank each of you. So now it's back to the coast and back to work. Thank you to everyone for all of your support, encouragement and inspiration throughout this trip. I've loved receiving your comments, likes and shares. You[ve been absolutely awesome and I'm so happy that you've shared this journey with me. I hope I can inspire others to do the same. Don't wait around for someone to do it with, you may never find someone. Get out there and have your own magical experience. I'll add some videos and other content when I get back home. See more
