24.01.2022 Let's take a little trip down memory lane. You see, this business has not always been what it is today. I started Design Concepts Sydney because I wanted to contribute my passion for residential design to my local community. I felt so excited and wanted to help guide my clients through the design and approval processes and getting them one step closer to moving into their newly constructed / renovated homes. ... DCS is now almost 13 years old and I LOVE every minute of being able to design a dream home for our clients.

We have a team with a wealth of knowledge. #DoubleTapIfIShouldIntroduceThemToYou So you will find here on our feed some tips and tricks to pass some of that knowledge to you when designing your dream home. ... We've been in the game for over 12 years - and started on our own 9 years ago so I'm going to #TootOurHorn and say WE know our stuff. One of the most popular first questions we get is do we go with an Architect or a Building Designer and what are you? So I'm going to #KeepItReal for you. There isn't much difference between the two. Both can do design plans for your building project, whether it is commercial or residential. A Building Designer is trained to produce scaled plans that meet the local council's guidelines. For projects over 4 stories high you are legally required to have the building signed off by a Registered Architect. Our team at DCS is primarily Building Designers, however we do have 3 post graduate architects as well. So we've got you covered from A to Z. 04.01.2022 TEMPORARY OFFICE CLOSURE Dear Clients, As you may have seen in the media recently concerning Coronavirus (COVID-19), there have been discussions raised with potential impacts to business and social movements to help reduce its spread. As the situation continues to evolve at the very fast rate that it has been, in particular the past week, we believe it necessary to take precautionary measures and to close our office temporarily as of March 23, 2020 and for our team work to re...motely for the next few weeks. Although we have been very fortunate enough to not have contracted the virus, to help reduce any potential contraction or spread of the virus we feel it absolutely necessary to take this drastic measure for the health and well-being of our team and our clients. Our phone lines have been diverted and our office will continue to run as normal between 8.30am 5pm Monday to Friday.
