22.01.2022 A veneer is a thin layer of ceramic bonded to your natural teeth to correct stained or crooked teeth, as in this circumstance. They can be as thin as half a millimeter so minimal preparation of tooth is required giving maximum aesthetic impact. This veneer has been pressed using Emax then layered with enamel porcelain enhancing its translucency.

16.01.2022 Following an in-house shade match and material selection consultation it was decided to labially build up porcelain on Bruxism zirconia due to the patients deep heavy bite. In situ pictures will hopefully be taken at the patients next appointment.

15.01.2022 Emax have gained popularity over the past few years due to their biocompatibility, strength and aesthetics. They are pressed rather than built up and therefore will not have porcelain chip off them as some milled zirconias can.
