21.01.2022 Due to the recent spike in the number of COVID-19 cases, the Australian Dental Assosciation - Victorian Branch has recommended level 2 restrictions in Metro Melbourne and Mitchell Shire as of Wednesday 15th of July, 2020. Our high level of infection control still remains our main priority with the following conditions of entry; - Temperature checks for everyone entering the clinic. - Use of the hand sanitizer provided.... - Limiting the people you bring with you to your appointment. - We kindly request that you DO NOT ATTEND THE CLINIC if you are currently ill or unwell regardless of if you have tested negative to COVID-19. Should there be any further updates or changes to restrictions, we shall be in contact but as of this moment appointments scheduled remain as is. 20.01.2022 Covid 19 update: With the recent announcement of easing on government restrictions on provision of routine orthodontic treatment, we shall be reopening on 27th April 2020 for in person appointments. We shall be in contact with all existing patients whose appointments have been cancelled as a result of the temporary suspension of routine appointments. Nonetheless, continued social distancing measures will still be ongoing and hence the following measures will still be applie...d within the practice: 1. Please use hand sanitizer provided upon your arrival 2. Please help us minimise the amount of traffic within our clinic by limiting who you bring to your appointment. We would also request waiting in your vehicle until your appointment time to minimise the number of patients within the practice at any one time. 3. If you are ill or unwell with any of the following symptoms or have been in contact with a known Covid-19 case, please contact us to reschedule your appointment. - Cough - Runny nose - Fever - Sore throat - Loss of taste and smell - Difficulty breathing We look forward to seeing you again and thank you for your co-operation in helping keep Designer Orthodontics a safe environment for all of us.

15.01.2022 Due to the wearing of face masks being made mandatory as of 11:59pm tonight, we kindly request that face masks are to be worn into each of our clinics as of start of business tomorrow morning. During clinical appointments, we will ask that your mask is removed and then replaced once your appointment is complete. We thank you once again for you cooperation.

10.01.2022 To our patients, Due to the recent announcement of Level 3 dental restrictions, we are now only open for urgent appointments and virtual consultations. All routine adjustments will be deferred for the moment and you should now have received a text message informing you about the cancellation. You do not need to contact the clinic at this stage, we will contact you to reschedule your appointment when we are able to do so. ... For new patients, please be in touch with our practice and we will be able to organise a complimentary virtual consultation from the comfort of your home for this period. For existing patients who have an emergency, our clinics will remain staffed to assist if required, so please do not hesitate to contact us with any concerns over this period. 08.01.2022 The Victorian government has announced that routine dental appointments can recommence on the 28th September 2020. Hence, we are excited to inform patients that the practice will recommence routine appointments as of 28th September 2020. For patients who had their appointments cancelled as a result of the restrictions, rest assured that we will be in contact with you to reschedule your appointment as we work through the backlog. As we recommence routine appointments, stringent adherence to Covid-safe protocols will continue to be enforced in the practice. 07.01.2022 Based on Level 3 restrictions being mandated for all dental services by federal authorities as of this morning (Friday, 27 March), we have made the difficult decision to close our clinic to seeing patients ‘in-person’ as of close of business today. The health and safety of our patients, staff and whole community is our first priority. For those whose appointment time has been affected, we will be in contact to reschedule your appointment when recommended restrictions have bee...n lifted. We are still open, working remotely to provide virtual consultations. New patient consultations will be held virtually and free of charge over this period. Our phones will be attended to over this period to manage any concerns or emergencies. Please contact the clinic should the need arise and we will advise on the best course of action.
