Along side with my new Interior Design business I decided to resurrect my long serving and well known Garment Design & Dressmaking business "DESIGNER THIMBLE" I still get requests for my services from my lovely clients and this made me rethink my decision and comeback to a profession I dedicated over 25 years of my professional life. ... 06.01.2022 The purpose of any service provider is to help as they are professionals or at list do no harm! This pair of trousers was brought to me with a plea to rescue them and make them right! Unfortunately, Russian magic was helpless in this case $700 leather pants that were a birthday present from daughters to their mum were ruined beyond repair! $150 were still charged for "alteration" by alteration business. Conclusion!... Regardless how big or small alteration is the person who is doing it needs to have knowledge, qualification and experience to do it! Do your research! Ask your friends and family for recommendation! Trust your garment to someone who can do it, not ruin it! See more
