24.01.2022 We are thrilled to have delivered the Community’s vision for the transformed King William Road ahead of schedule on Monday 2 December. The early completion was made possible through strong collaboration with BMD, the traders and community. Visit the new King William Road and discover: Increased outdoor dining and vibrant atmosphere On-street parking... New trees and plantings, providing a cooler environment Dedicated pedestrian crossings Smart technology and more Thank you for being part of the journey and enjoy our fourth project milestone update!

23.01.2022 With nearly all the trees now planted along King William Road and the new lights installed the transformation is really taking shape. Over 80 trees will be planted as part of the upgrade Urbanite Ash along King William Road, Autumn Blaze Maple at the Park/Mitchell St intersection and Gingko and Chinese Elm within side streets. The new flexible spaces will be used for outdoor dining, car parking or activation and provide an adaptable environment for the future. Enjoy our third project milestone update!

15.01.2022 KWR Flexible Spaces More than 70 on-street car parking spaces are designed with flexibility to enable King William Road to adapt into the future and will be used for car parking, outdoor dining, and other activations.

15.01.2022 The King William Road transformation is on schedule and delivering on the community's vision to create a vibrant, unique and inviting destination, that appeals day and night to shoppers, traders, residents and visitors alike. The new streetscape will provide a flexible environment that can adapt into the future, with on-street parking , more opportunities for outdoor dining and places for the community to come together. The upgrade also includes new smart technology including multipoles with LED lighting, smart parking sensors, screens and more.



14.01.2022 The City of Unley is thrilled to announce that the King William Road Upgrade will be substantially completed Monday 2 December, ahead of schedule, with the availability of on-street parking and outdoor dining in time for the busy Christmas trading period. 08.01.2022 How great do the new King William Road lights look! The new LED lights are more pedestrian focused and economical, with the ability to be dimmed and managed through time controls. The old light poles will be removed early next week.



02.01.2022 This Saturday, enjoy Christmas on King William Road with free Santa visits, face painting and live music. Shop for gifts or stop for a bite to eat. You can even post a letter to Santa in Santa's post box located near St Louis.
