23.01.2022 A highlight of my career as a sort out International Speaker and Business Strategist was interviewing A-list Actor and famous celebrity Mel Gibson in Los Angeles to an audience of 2500+ people from 70 countries. For this woman from Zimbabwe and Africa. I am proud of the strides we are making as African women and look forward to touring Africa in 2018 to empower My fellow African Entrepreneurs to success and to create platforms for them to empower others. #melgibson #entrepreneurs #zimbabwe #africa

19.01.2022 Ladies and gentlemen, I’m so honored to be on the cover of Her Grit Magazine, Africa’s fastest growing Global publication, that inspires, informs and imparts knowledge to women of all color. I was so excited when founder & chief editor Charmaine Ntokozo Mbatha asked me to be the guide & inspiration that helps women from around the world to kick-off their 2019 goals. Not only because as a business coach it’s what I do myself but also at the magnitude of the idea. Our millen...nials are truly tomorrow’s future. With readers in over 52 countries worldwide, Her Grit Magazine is one of the pioneers and new dawn of media, changing conversations from pointing the finger to lifting each other up through positive & educational content. Each person’s journey to success is unique, however the fundamentals are quite similar. Taking from my professional & business experience of 20 years these are my Top 10 Success Strategies. 17.01.2022 Ladies and gentlemen, it gives me great pleasure to announce that I have been nominated for the Harvey Norman Gold Coast Women of the Year Awards. Words cannot express how honoured I am to be nominated for this prestigious award. I have been supporting women in Africa to become economically independent and self-sufficient for the past 10 years through my organisation Destiny Arise - Hazel Herrington. When I moved to Australia my work continued and I did not let the dista...nce hinder my vision to empower women. With the support & superior education from Griffith University I managed to travel to Zimbabwe during my semester breaks to run. *Business Workshop’s. *Micro-Finance small business loans. *Feeding Programs. *Prison Programs. *Youth Career Guidance Conferences. In Australia I have been working as a UN Women Empowerment champion raising funds for women globally, we are committed to advancing gender equality and the empowerment of women. Gender inequalities remain deeply entrenched in every society. Every day, women face violence and discrimination; lack access to decent work opportunities and equal pay; are denied access to basic education and health care; and are under-represented in political and economic decision-making processes and we are working to change this. My priorities this year as the Australian Global Goodwill Ambassador, Humanitarian & Human Rights representative include: *Ending violence against women and girls *Ending poverty through enhancing women’s economic empowerment *Responding in emergencies to ensure women’s needs and talents are at the centre of disaster planning and response *Women’s leadership and political participation *Women’s inclusion in peace-making processes and negotiations. Thank you to Harvey Norman for creating a platform for the inclusion and visibility of women of colour, you are leaving no woman behind and I salute your efforts.
