So until further notice it means that for now, any bookings from Thursday the 26th and on, will need to be postponed. 23.01.2022 Over the next few weeks, I've decided to write about a few symptoms that I've been coming across whilst working. These are symptoms that are easily remedied, yet considered by many, to be, too complex to be treated by a massage therapist. The first one being good old Sciatica. Sciatica is, as most would know, pain caused by an impingement of some kind on the Sciatic nerve. The pain can be in all, or either the lower back, hip, buttock, leg and even foot. The most common is sc...iatic pain in the buttock and down the back of the leg. The main cause of this is a shortening of one of the muscles in the buttock region, which then places pressure onto the sciatic nerve, causing an impingement and then pain. It's relatively easy to treat, provided you find a therapist who knows their stuff. Depending on the intensity of the treatment, it can also be treated with minimal appointments. If you suffer the other symptom, where you have pain in the lower back, or high into the hip, the scenario is a little different. There are other factors that come into play, such as bulging discs and disc degeneration to name a few. Depending on the cause however, massage can still provide relief and an improvement in comfort levels. So if this is a symptom you've been suffering, don't rule out massage as an option. As I can assure you that based on the results I have achieved with my clients, it is very treatable when done by a good quality therapist. On many occasions, with almost instantaneous results.

12.01.2022 Lots of people who are struggling with chronic pain or ongoing issues, get to a point where they feel like nothing will help and that their condition is something they'll just have to live with and manage. I was one of these people and have treated many people like this. I have been able to get clients who believed they would never run again, back up and running. I've treated clients with chronic migraines and been able to help them live headache free. Other clients with lowe...r back and sciatic pain that has bothered them for lengthy periods have also been relieved after just a couple of treatments. 08.01.2022 Happy new year to all , I know that most of my clients already know, but just incase, I need to let you know that as of the 1st of February this year, there will be an increase in my massage rates. I know that it isnt great when this happens, however it is the first increase in the almost 3 years Ive been open, but even with the increase I am still cheaper on average for the area.... 02.01.2022 Chronic Pain... From the feet to the head and everything in between. I have treated many, many clients who have all come in reporting that they suffer from chronic pain. Many have come in for treatment on a different issue and have just told me that they have this chronic pain as a throw away comment. They have been lead to believe it's something they have to live with because it can't be fixed.... It's not though. From my own experiences I know that more often than not, most ailments are treatable. Massage, whilst an underrated practice, can achieve some astounding results, especially when performed by someone with extensive experience and knowledge. Attributes that I have, which I've gained from being exposed to athletes who compete on the world stage in some of the toughest sports. I have resolved long standing issues with clients from sciatica, plantar fasciitis, back pain, shoulder impingement and migraines to name a few. I've seen the relief it's brought to people who didn't think they'd feel that way again. If you're at the point where you feel nothing will work, then come in and see me.
