25.01.2022 So it is finally happening! We are moving in to Bli Bli Village. From Monday 27th of July all speech pathology sessions will be operating from the 3rd floor (where the Bli Bli Doctor’s clinic is). Watch this space for paediatric physiotherapist starting dates!

20.01.2022 I see some amazing students at Suncoast Christian College in Woombye on a Wednesday. I have the pleasure of working in a room off the library and I discovered this book yesterday! A book about a boy who uses sign language!

14.01.2022 Just another wonderful day conducting therapy in the Bli Bli clinic, hanging out with the chickens. My new friend here is a big fan of Audrey (the chicken). At MSP we aim to do things a little differently, to maximise your child's engagement and consequently, their willingness to learn.

12.01.2022 A great article by Qld Health. My Bli Bli clinic and also the Melbourne clinic are both open for services. We have a waiting list but it is much shorter than what some people are mentioning, and if you are not picky about days and times you can be seen more quickly. I would be happy to chat further!

11.01.2022 Paediatric Occupational Therapist, Beverley Clarke, will be seeing children at Suncoast Speech and Movement in Bli Bli! Bev graduated as an occupational therapist in 1986 and has worked in both public and private settings within healthcare and the education sectors. She has extensive experience and uses a tailored approach for children who need support with sensory processing difficulties, autism, anxiety, attention issues, specific learning difficulties, developmental delays and motor co-ordination issues. 09.01.2022 Apologies for not getting back to people today- we had a burglary in the Malvern East clinic in Victoria that took up most of my time today. All back to normal for Monday!

09.01.2022 Literacy support with a difference! I use visualising techniques to support children struggling with their literacy development. These are drawings made by one of my beautiful students I see at Suncoast Christian College. He has tried lots of different programs and nothing has helped. He is a very talented artist so I harnessed that skill to link with his literacy. For the first time in his life he is reading and spelling. I can’t explain the absolute joy this gives me.

08.01.2022 Trip to the vet for therapy chicken, Kimmie. Sadly she had a little accident over the weekend and hasn’t been able to walk since. An x-Ray later and we are quietly confident that with some rest and anti inflammatory medication she will be good as new! Big thanks to Sian at All Animal Vet in Nambour!!
