04.01.2022 A perfect example of why keeping your car clean is such an important part of maintaining its condition long term. Somewhere between driving down dusty roads to watch #targawest on Friday, and going to wash my car today, a cat decided to jump on the bonnet and left this lovely collection of scratches. You can see how the scratches are all exactly where the cat has slid across the dirt, causing the dirt to leave fine scratches in the paint. Most of this could have been avoided ...if I'd washed the car sooner, but the photo in the comments shows how little dust was needed to damage the paint.
