22.01.2022 People are so complex, and we need to remember to respect this fact and build it in to our work as health professionals. I think this is why this quote stuck with me! #autism #development #DMSP #SSP #RDI

20.01.2022 And here is the big news! I moved out of the Woolloomooloo rooms and I have joined the team at MindPlasticity, Suite 517, Level 5, 50 Holt Street, Surry Hills. It is a lovely space alongside a very professional and capable multi-disciplined team of professionals. Clinic-based sessions are now available at the new location on Mondays and Wednesday mornings. #DMSP #development #autism #RDI #RelationshipDevelopmentIntervention #mindplasticity

12.01.2022 Happy Father’s Day to all the men who work everyday to show their children what a great man looks like! Speaking from someone who had the benefit of this first hand, I can honestly say that your children, no matter how old they are, do and always will love you for it. Enjoy this day when your children will take a moment to thank you for all that you do! I absolutely love this photo of two of the best dads in know, and today seemed like the best time to share it .

08.01.2022 This quote has stuck with me today. A colleague shared a very insightful article with me today, called "Why No Autistic Child Should Be in ABA Therapy" by Shannon Des Roches Rosa from Thinking Person's Guide to Autism. Shannon has a way of succinctly articulating her experiences with her son, and cuts to the heart of what many Autistics, and professionals in the field, advocate to be the problems with ABA and adjacent approaches. ... I like how Shannon speaks through her own experience with her son when she didn't know any better, and she is hoping that by publishing articles like this one, other parents will choose a better path by knowing there are more options out there for them and their child. 04.01.2022 How great to find a simple tool to get started supporting your child to value the process rather than the outcome! Making this switch is equally important for adult guides as it is for children, because the value of any learning experiences is what happens along the way, not just what happens at the end. Another useful piece from Hand in Hand Parenting! #development #RDI #DevelopingMinds #parents
