18.01.2022 ‘WHEN I GROW UP' THE CORY VIRTUAL BRASS DAY BAND A couple of weeks ago we held our first ever virtual brass day where we were joined by some amazing musicians ...of all ages and abilities from 14 different countries across the world. As part of the event they all rehearsed and then recorded individual contributions to this fantastic distanced performance of ‘When I Grow Up’ from the musical ‘Matilda’, expertly arranged by Philip Harper. We’re super proud of them all and we'd love it if you showed your appreciation by sharing the video and posting your comments below to tell us what you think. Our next 'Virtual Brass Day' is being held on Sat 27 June, and following it we'll be putting together a video performance of 'Let it Go' from Frozen. For more information and to book your place, visit www.coryband.com/virtualbrass

15.01.2022 WAKEY WAKEY We don’t know about you, but we’ve been feeling a bit lethargic and struggling to get out of our beds in the morning since lockdown began. S...o, we thought we’d play something to wake you up and get you go-go-going. This has been the toughest distance banding project we’ve done so far as we’d never played this piece before. We’re sure it shows in places but we’re not bothered though as long as it makes you smile . This 80s mega hit from legendary pop duo Wham is arranged here by our Musical Director, Philip Harper. Thanks for your amazing support and congratulations to all the bands around the world for producing and sharing the amazing videos you’ve been producing. Lets all keep it going. Love and best wishes to you all The Cory Band #KeepSafeKeepSmiling #TheCoryBand #CoryBand *********************************************** If you like our music, you can buy our latest CD, 'The Jungle Book Live' and other titles from www.coryband.com.
