12.01.2022 A great morning. .... had the first kill today for some beef. What a great way to see an animal be slaughtered, feeding on fresh green grass as it died without any stress whatsoever. Pics can be seen here at https://m.facebook.com/BleathmanMobileButcher

01.01.2022 It is a sad morning here as our last calf was born this morning. It has died or was still born. It is something to watch how a herd reacts to this. They all go up to the dead calf as if to say bye to it. They spent a couple minutes there at a time. Shows that a herd of cattle is like a huge family. Even the calves that are a couple weeks old have a good bye. Mum is quite boisterous at the moment as well, in some sort of mourning display.
