25.01.2022 Due to the recent cancellation of the 2020 Victorian Winter Baseball competition training will be canceled tomorrow (Saturday) and Tuesday. Further details in regards to ongoing training will follow early next week.

23.01.2022 It’s another Devils son. Congratulations to Amy Scanlon and Leigh Scanlon on Baby Oscar. Another super star to add to our ever growing Tee Ball team.

23.01.2022 Training to recommence on Tuesday 2nd June. Going forward training dates are as follows: Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6.15pm onwards.... Saturdays at 10.45am. Players must register on the BV website under the Covid-19 (return to Activity registration page). You must have registered before you attend Diamond Creek club training. You cannot register whilst at Diamond Creek training. Please advise players to check their e-mails again tomorrow night to pick up details per the new BV release.

19.01.2022 Baseball Victoria and all our member clubs and associations incorporating all remaining summer baseball activities, all winter association and club activity across Victoria and all Baseball Victoria activities will cease for 21 days. This includes all training, club activities and team meetings, as well as events, tournaments and competitions

17.01.2022 Following Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews’ announcements made yesterday afternoon on the return to stage three lockdown restrictions in metropolitan Melbourne, Baseball Victoria has confirmed the shutdown of all baseball activity in metropolitan Melbourne and the Mitchell Shire area for the next six weeks, starting at 11:59 PM tonight, Wednesday, 8 July 2020. Thank you to our dedicated coaches Tim, Brett, Nicole & Scott, for their diligence and commitment in keeping training going up until now, and preparedness to continue to do so until these latest restrictions put an end to these plans. Please continue to communicate through various social media channels, stay connected and support each other, and most importantly keep yourselves safe during the upcoming isolation period. The club will continue to keep you updated over coming weeks as we receive communications from Baseball Victoria, the MWBL and Nillumbik Council. Meanwhile we are always keen to receive feedback as we start to contemplate 2021. Training will now start on Thursday 4th June at 6:15pm Players must register on the BV website under the Covid-19 (return to Activity registration page). You do not have to pay a fee. ... You must registered before you attend Diamond Creek club training. You cannot register whilst at Diamond Creek training. Failure to register and you will be sent home!!!!! You will be required to sign in and out at all trainings. We have hand sanitiser and disposable gloves readily available for you to use. We do ask you to use your own sporting equipment and adhere to the social distancing rules. See you down at the Devils Den

15.01.2022 Good evening everyone, Following on from this afternoon’s announcement from the MWBL in regards to the cancellation of the 2020 Junior & Senior season, I thought it pertinent to get on the front foot and advise of our ongoing arrangements / considerations. Firstly, we are disappointed with the decision but given local circumstances, there was really no alternative.... Priority No.1 is always the health and wellbeing of all our members and their families. Given the current weather conditions / announcement, training for this Saturday (4th) and Tuesday night (7th) for both Seniors and Under 13’s has been cancelled. We have spoken this evening with both coaches Tim (Seniors) and Nicole (U/13’s), and both have indicated their preparedness to maintain a training program for those who have been training and are keen to continue training for the foreseeable future. We see this as an important aspect for as many as possible to continue with some regular physical activity. So going forward the scenario is as follows: Seniors Training to recommence from Thursday 9th July and Saturday 11th July at normal times. Players MUST register their intent to train and indicate their preference if not attending both nights by contacting Tim on a regular basis. Please do this regularly as a courtesy to Tim to avoid him travelling unnecessarily. Under 13’s Training to recommence on Tuesday 14th July at normal times. Players / Parents MUST register their intent to train on a regular basis by contacting Nicole on a regular basis. There may be an opportunity here to change to a Saturday morning scenario depending on the interest. Once again consultation with Nicole is required.
