25.01.2022 I am currently preparing material for the online masterminds that I will be running in 2021. There is so much material to facilitate people through growth processes from Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich. In fact, Napoleon Hill’s 25 year study to identify wealth habits and strategies of the wealthy was the first time the concept of the mastermind discussed. It seems timely to share one of the ideas from the book at precisely this time of year. The author identifies 28 Self... Analysis Questions to ask yourself. In fact he suggests going through these questions with someone else so as to be more accountable and talk through the answers. The responses can help to focus your attention on areas to work and set goals based on what you would like to improve on. The book was first published in 1937 and the language has not aged well. So I have pared back the number of questions to 11, put into modern language and added a few of my own questions that you may want to consider. 1. Have I attained the goal(s) that I set myself for the year past? 2. Are my top 5 core values still the same? 3. Have I provided the highest quality and quantity of service that I could? 4. Have I practised authenticity in my communication so as to create the best outcomes for all relationships? 5. Have I sabotaged myself with procrastination in any way? 6. Have I made decisions promptly and with definite purpose? 7. Have I been persistent and consistent in my actions and behaviours in working towards achieving my goals? 8. In what ways have I improved what I have to offer? 9. Have I under promised and over delivered? 10. Have I followed the habit of budgeting my time, my expenses and my income, and have I met these budgets? 11. Have my opinions and decisions been based on guesswork, or accuracy of analyses and thought?
