21.01.2022 Understanding what a bad mood is and what is happening has been so helpful for me. Being able to recognise a bad mood for what it is saves me from going down a rabbit hole of unhelpful thinking and emotions. And being able to recognise it in others enables me to avoid taking their behaviour personally, and to give them a breakthe same way I'd like others to give me a break when I’m having a bad mood. I'm hoping that by sharing what I know about bad moods, that it can maybe help you, tooespecially at a time like this when we're living so closely with others.
18.01.2022 I’m excited to be presenting this workshop tomorrow for my friends at Centred Meditation (non-members can join in too). Because of the learning I’ve completed in Positive Psychology, it gives me a unique perspective to be able to explain some of the processes that are happening, and the benefits people receive from reiki. I’ll be sharing information about why reiki is so effective at clearing stress, aches and pains; why it’s so effective at calming emotions (hint: it’s all i...n the brain); and how it can help with resilience and thriving. I truly believe that now is the perfect time for reiki. Because of physical distancing, the way we might have taken care of our heathphysically, mentally, emotionally and spirituallymay be unavailable to us. Modalities and treatments that have been unable to be translated to online services are inaccessible. Reiki works beyond space and time, so it can be sent from a distance, with the same effects and benefits as an in-person, hands-on sessions. 15.01.2022 For such a long time I had resisted doing online reiki sessions. To be honest, I didn't think they'd be as good as the in-person, hands on sessions. Well, I've been proven wrong. This is what a client had to say about it: "When Diana suggested reiki by remote I was a little taken aback. How could this work? Although there is a plethora of social media platforms for talking, I wondered how it could give me relief from the head and neck tension that her face-to-face consultatio...n provides. Facing an unknown period of self isolation I decided to give it a try. I couldn’t believe it when I felt the same sensations on my forehead, as I do in the in-person sessions! I also felt the tension relief afterwards. It really can work from a distance." The coronavirus situation forced me to challenge my belief around how effective distant healing can be. And I'm so grateful for it. Because now that means I can share reiki with so many more people.
12.01.2022 What we’re experiencing at this time in the world can be a huge challenge for so many people. Maybe less so for my teenage son, who has been practicing self-isolation for a while now, and I’m sure is loving the fact that he now has a reason to never leave his room! For the rest of us grown ups, the challenges can be on many levels financial being just one of them.
