22.01.2022 Love this....means everything !

22.01.2022 Apologies not posted for a while - it’s been a very busy January with everything that has been going on here in Australia! My thoughts are with everyone whos life has been impacted....

20.01.2022 So true - allow yourself to experience your emotions as they arise, breath and remind yourself this too will pass....

17.01.2022 FYI - Don't even bother trying to control your emotions, it's like trying to control the storm, just learn to dive beneath the waves and let them crash far above you. Love Dianna x

16.01.2022 I write this post with a heavy, saddened heart...we lost a dear compassionate and loving soul to cancer last week...her passing has impacted me, my family and the community hard. We will miss her love, compassion and generosity. RIP dear friend you will not be forgotten. Love to her husband and her two darling boys - Dianna

12.01.2022 Through our struggles we stumble across our strengths

10.01.2022 Change can be difficult for everyone. I was reminded of this not so long ago...just after Christmas I was faced with having to move my office after 4.5 years in the same space (which I loved and so did my clients).... Initially, I admit, I became overwhelmed with the thought of finding a suitable office space and moving (changing my status quo), worried about the impact it would have on my clients, client referrals, professional and personal commitments, etc. I was outward ...looking at external self-esteem . I then remembered, what I often say to my clients when they begin to feel overwhelmed and out of control, return your focus onto internal self-esteem: PAUSE, BREATH and be PATIENT OPEN UP TO RECEIVE..... With this small change in focus and to honour my concerns and my fears, I started to accept the fears and concerns as just that. I became CALM, GROUNDED and was able to move towards being SELF-FOCUSED (assertive, Confident and Comfortable) in the here and now. With each breath in and out I chose to shine my internal light of self-esteem onto possibilities. I opened up to receive and what came to me was that I was thinking of ways to grow into a new space this year.....my predicament had provided me with the opportunity to do just that - grow With the new sense of possibilities and shining my light on myself I found my new beautiful place....(photos to follow). Beingwell Healthcare 386-388 Malvern Road Prahran VIC 3181 I feel calm, reassured and self-focused, grounded in the here and now and ready to receive my clients into my. new space. I am reminded of the saying - one door closes and another opens... Dianna x

09.01.2022 So much happening over the past few weeks both personally and professionally - continuing to breath in and out and be patient with receiving. This afternoon I will be signing a lease for my new practice location...I am reminded: As one door closes another opens ... I am so very excited about this wonderful opportunity to expand my business and I will post the new location details once lease has been signed.... Dianna x

05.01.2022 In Louise Hay's words - let's learn to love and accept ourself: Your self image is made up of your own judgements. It's not the REAL you. ... Sit for 10 minutes with this question: What is it like to be me when I am not judging myself? You might be surprised with what comes up!

05.01.2022 The lovely forest on my website and this facebook page reminds me that I am coming out of the forest into the clearing right now....it has been a challenging year and I am hopeful that I can draw upon my experiences and recognise the importance of every experience....exciting times right now.

04.01.2022 This is a lovely reminder we are all human beings trying to survive the best way we can. Giving to others is receiving...

04.01.2022 As Winter approaches and the days get colder and darker, it reminds me that the change in the weather can affect our mood. Our bodies tell us that we need to hibernate, stay insider and keep warm until the weather gets warmer. Over time, during the Winter months, we can start to feel isolated, alone, sad and experience depressive symptoms. For some, they experience extreme loneliness, sadness and depressive symptoms which, if left unchecked, can lead to SAD (Seasonal Affe...ctive Disorder). Those suffering from SAD need both medical and psychological intervention. Prevent the manifestation of SAD by recognising and being proactive: CHOSE to take control of how you are feeling and thinking during the winter months before they manifests into someone else. CHANGE YOUR MINDSET from a fixed mindset, where you are not in control your thoughts and feelings, to a Growth where you can take control of work towards feeling and thinking differently. Engage in your normal COPING STRATEGIES like getting out and about, exercise, meeting up with friends and socialise. COMPASSION, and I'm talking Self Compassion. Be kind and loving towards yourself, just like you would to a fiend who is feeling lonely, sad or depressed. Make these small changes and you will fend off feeling isolation, negative thoughts and emotions and prevent SAD from developing. Caution: If symptoms persist, please seek out medical advise from your GP or a Psychologist. Dianna x

02.01.2022 For all those parents (particularly dads) out there who are struggling with connecting with their child....consider joining this free online research program! https://parentworks.org.au/ Good luck Dads!

02.01.2022 Well worth watching - any intentional support to assist is good support! Dianna x

02.01.2022 Gaslighting needs to be called out for what it is - vulnerable people shutting down or dismissing others as a form of control and grandiosity...which really means they are trapped in old fashioned Patriarchal roles because of fear and shame....
