PRODUCT PREPARATION We remove your existing floor tile grout & prepare all wall tile and floor tile junctions along with any vertical internal junctions including vertical and horizontal hob and wall tile junctions using specially engineered diamond burs. This process ensures a clean product bond to the tile, instead of just surface adhesion. EPOXY APPLICATION Epoxy Grout will be applied to the prepared tile joints and internal junctions. The epoxy grout has been specifically designed for wet area sealing and has the strength to withstand normal building movement. It will not crack, deteriorate or let water penetrate through the junctions. It does not dissolve and is not weakened by strong chemical cleaning agents. SEAL INTERNAL OF WASTE Generally the grate is not mechanically connected to the waste riser and the sand & cement screed is evident once the grate is removed. This also allows capillary action of waste water through the screed underneath the tiles. An epoxy sleeve with be applied to tis screed preventing further capillary action. RESEAL SHOWER SCREEN BASE The shower floor area is regrouted up to the internal of the shower screen. 14.01.2022 Misconception is costing clients money! #DAVCO EASY GROUT Have you heard of the saying "stupidity pays" well thanks to uneducated & incorrect statements & information shown in videos on #YouTube and #Facebook pages by so called #shower repair experts regarding the #davco product Easy Grout! Disclaimer: this is not aimed at the #davco product or the company but clowns publicly stating incorrect information about the products they use.... A #shower #repair company shows the product in a video and the guy claims to regrout the shower walls using epoxy grout and shows the pail of Easy Grout by #davco and even tags #davco in his post. During the week i receive many calls regarding epoxy grout and our shower resealing services. it was during one of these calls it was mentioned by a homeowner that he had already regrouted the walls of his shower and only wanted us to epoxy grout the floor area. An appointment was scheduled where i attended the home to insect the shower and discuss the relevant service it would require. It was noted that the shower and bathroom walls had been regrouted infact it was only refaced and on closer inspection the grout had been placed over the top of the existing old grout. I showed the owner that the money he had paid the contractor to regrout his shower walls was wasted, with a flick of finger nail the fresh grout was able to be pealed off the old grout exposing cracked and deteriorated old and missing grout in places. The owner was informed that as the walls would again require regrouting by us to ensure no leakage or ingress through the grout and behind the tiles. So our $400.00 shower floor regrout became our $645.00 full showers reseal. The owner explained that he had been searching the internet for services and solutions to his #shower when he came across the video on #Facebook regarding Easy Grout and the guy saying you can regrout over the existing as it is an epoxy grout! Easy Grout by #Davco is not an Epoxy Grout! It is polymer modified acrylic grout, very stain resist and has greater water resistance that a sanded cementitious grout. Tho the owner himself was not stupid, just misinformed he did pay for it!

WALL GROUT The full shower regrout service involves the removal of your existing wall grout from top of shower screen down to the floor tiles. 07.01.2022 A simple check you can do yourself is to see if the tap penetrations have been sealed. This does not mean the flanges adhered to the wall! But the hole itself is sealed.
