25.01.2022 At 5:40pm tonight, Diggers Rest CFA will be sounding our station siren for four cycles in memory of the four fallen Victoria Police officers who tragically lost their lives last week. During this time, please take a moment of silence to honour Leading Senior Constable Lynette Taylor... Senior Constable Kevin King Constable Josh Prestney Constable Glen Humphris We do ask that you please help us make your friends and family aware of this event and not to be alarmed when you hear the siren.

16.01.2022 What a great day we have had today! As volunteers, at times it can be tough on us and our families when we are called away, but the time that our volunteers, friends and family members spent driving the Santa's around town visiting the community is reward enough for the work that we do! The excitement from the children is amazing! We were absolutely overwhelmed this year by the thoughtfulness and kind donations, and there were many, between the beer, wine, water, choco...lates, icy-poles & a special fish & chip lunch kindly provided by Paul and his team at Diggers Rest Take Away. 01.01.2022 During the hard time that our amazing country is currently facing we have done the best we can to show our support to the ANZAC’s who fought so very hard for us all to have the country we have today. The brigade is also grieving for the loss of our brothers and sisters in blue who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty last week.
