13.01.2022 Do you want to learn coding but dont know how? Check out the Grok Learning website https://groklearning.com/launch/. The Grok Learning platform is Free for Teachers and students in years 5 & 7 only. Otherwise it is approx $30 per student. Price can be negotiated. This site has courses, competition, and activities that are great for beginners but will also challenge and extend your students who are more competent. There are multiple coding language available including Python..., Blockly, CSS, HTML. Grok also supports peripheral technology such as Arduino and Micro bit languages. What I like the best about Grok Learning is that the students can self learn a coding language without having to rely on the teacher having all the knowledge. Students write the code, test code, then submit their code in the web browser the Grok platform will then analyse and identify an error if one exists. No more time wasted trying to debug your students code!!!! Thats a win right there!!! The Australian Computing Academy https://aca.edu.au/ have partnered with Grok on this venture. All the content within Grok Learning aligns with the Australian Digital Technologies Curriculum. Grok Learning is a quality product, I think the potential this could offer many of our classrooms is huge!! Check it out, teacher accounts are free!!!
