15.01.2022 We’ve been absolutely overwhelmed with people volunteering to help our community during this time. Be very proud of yourself Dimboola! Our local businesses are adapting their practices and services to keep us safe and looked after. Please continue to support them. Continue to check in on your neighbours (safely) and remember that there are many people available to help should you need. ... Let’s also look after our emergency service workers and health care professionals. Some great advice from Ron below.

Looking for volunteers - if anyone sees any of this nasty Khaki Weed in the Rec Reserve, on the Common, along the river or anywhere else around town, could we please ask for you to help out the town & dig it up for us? It has VERY nasty prickles, & itd be great if we could get it all before it flowers and spreads.

08.01.2022 Hi to all . Normally the DTC monthly meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month. Due to the social distancing regulations we are postponing meetings until further notice . We are still a Team and working on projects around the Township. We will keep you posted as things unfold , and look forward to the Community coming together to improve our beautiful Dimboola .
07.01.2022 Hey Dimboola... Given current circumstances, were aware that there is a lot of uncertainty and unease in the community. We want you to know that as a community, weve got your back. There are a number of groups and individuals around town who are at the ready to provide support. If you (or someone you know) need support, supplies, errands run, or just a chat to ease your mind, please message this Facebook page and well organise for someone to help you out. You can also mess...age us if youd like to volunteer to help out! Were aware that not everyone is on Facebook, so please check in on your neighbours and let them know that they are not alone and that help is available should they need. At this stage, this is an informal support network, but discussions are underway to scale up should there be demand for it. Lets show that in times of crisis, Dimboola bands together and looks after our most vulnerable and that were above squabbling over toilet paper.

01.01.2022 Hours of volunteer work to better our town and community and its now reduced to this !!!!
01.01.2022 It is with sadness that the Dimboola Town Committee acknowledges the passing of Dimboola resident and passionate volunteer Ivan Pipkorn. Ivans ingenuity in designing and building a sled to assist with the construction of walking tracks in Dimboola has led to the establishment of approximately seven kilometres of walking tracks in Nine Creeks, the Common and the Recreation Reserve. Without Ivans input, the construction of the walking tracks would have been a lot more diffi...cult, time consuming and expensive. On behalf of all users of the walking tracks, the Dimboola Town Committee acknowledges and thanks Ivan for his contributions to the Dimboola community and passes its condolences on to his family and friends. Rest in Peace Ivan.
