Our centre is a busy 90 place long day care facility that provides Education and Care for children aged 6 weeks 6 years. The centre enjoys optimal occupancy figures and is looking for a Centre Director that is ready to guide our team of Early Childhood Educators and support them in the provision of Premium Early education and care. The ideal... applicant would be an Early Childhood Teacher with experience in centre management. Consideration will be given to applicants with a Diploma in Children’s Services and extensive experience in a centre management role. The position is full time and salary and conditions in line with the Educational Services (Teachers) Award, or Children’s Services award if applicable. Above award conditions would be considered for the right applicant. In addition, our company offers a KPI incentive Bonus scheme and employee childcare fees discount, if applicable, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities. Essential Experience/skills: - Proven post graduate experience in staff management and development. - Prior experience working with children birth-6 years in a long day care setting. - Comprehensive working knowledge AND experience in implementing the National Quality Framework including the National Quality Standards, Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and Education and Care National Regulations 2011. - Knowledge of all current legislation’s governing early childhood education including Child Protection legislation, Code of Ethics, and anti-bias curriculum. - Excellent interpersonal, written and communication skills Knowledge of and ability to apply Workplace Health and Safety and Equal Employment Opportunity principles. - Computer skills: Microsoft suite essential.
