25.01.2022 The High Country is an incredible mix of nature, history and serenity. Photographer Carol Binder is a regular for camping under the stars at 1600m. As her photos show, the experiences are unforgettable. Our camp areas are open once more to Regional Victorians, including JB Hut just outside of our boundaries. Time to bring some adventure back into your life.

22.01.2022 30cm today in a spring snow storm. If you’re regionally based, this weekend is your best chance to get a taste of the snow before packing the mittens away for another year. We’re open (and free to access), don’t forget your beanies!

22.01.2022 Australia's highest brewery is going through some changes, a new venue and a new owner. If you've shared a brew with Mark and Caroline over the years, this weekend is your chance to come say goodbye and cheers as Blizzard Brewing Company enters its next phase

21.01.2022 The mountain pygmy possums are awakening in our mountains but their road forward is harder than ever with their main food source, the Bogong Moth, going missing for the past 3 years. Zoos Victoria are running the annual moth tracker to help researchers find out how to help our pygmy possums. Download the tracker and keep your eyes peeled to help the cause

19.01.2022 Weather looks rubbish tomorrow, so enjoy the sunshine today

18.01.2022 Today one of our dearest closed it’s doors for the last time. Everyone has shared the delights of Mountain Kitchen - the food, the coffee, and of course the conversation. It’s been an undeniable part of the DP fabric for almost a decade. In a fitting setting of a classic Dinner Plain bluebird day, Mountain Kitchen’s crew served its last coffee today, ready to bid farewell and move onto the next adventure. The space will soon have a new life but for now, we’re saying thanks to... Ally and the team for the years of memories, friendships, and of course the unmistakable MK latte-ometers! Leave your memories of MK in the comments as we say farewell

08.01.2022 We’ve said goodbye to one of our own this weekend. Blizzard Brewing Company founder Mark Hubbard pulled his last beer as Dinner Plain locals and visitors alike showed up for a last round or three. Help send off the crew with your own cheers and memories in the comments
