23.01.2022 One to kick off your saturday! This clip taken this morning Pukekohe Park Raceway NZ, by aussie wild kid and all round good guy Jake Jones 'DriftSquid'. It seems the recently fitted direct clutch 8" Drift spec twin plate is working well in helping the approach speeds, the car then having its windscreen, literally blow out!! Go Jake!. 21.01.2022 There are over one thousand Direct Clutch billet twin plates out in service all over the world.. But this one gets a special mention after running a quarter mile time of 6.82 @ 191mph.. with an amazing 1.060 60ft time!!! So its a massive congratulations to Terry and Marcus from the team at Boost WorX with the 13BT Rx2 running on a 8" Direct Clutch - sintered iron - billet twin plate unit. As far as we know (as it is hard to keep track of them all ) this is the second fasted 8" billet twin plate ever over the quarter mile, followed closely by the 3rd fastest the Mazworx Performance prepared datsun 1200 running 2 identical 7.08s @ 197mph! Maatouks Racing VL God still holds the no1 spot with a 6.72 @ 211 (achieved some time ago before moving to a slider clutch)

17.01.2022 Covid 19 Virus update: 01/04/20 Direct Clutch currently remains open for business on our usual Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm trading hours We have taken significant steps within the business to mitigate risks to our staff, customers and suppliers. ... Our usual front office is closed to walk in customers, instead we are serving on a side counter which is in a more open air area. We ask customers please be mindful of the 1.5m required for social distancing and ensure you follow the hygiene practices All staff are practicing more stringent measures of physical distancing and minimising instances of face to face contact. We have employed hygiene policies for all staff that are in place to manage sanitisation of all work and communal areas and surfaces.
