16.01.2022 A message from our CEO..." I'm very excited to have the Day Program back again. These last few months have been challenging for both our staff and our participants. Everyone has stepped up and I have no doubt that everyone has done the very best they possibly can. We are still very mindful that COVID 19 poses an issue right this minute, however we are confident that we have covered all bases. We won't be providing any Community Based activities at the moment, however we have lots of different options for Day Program. With the three beautiful services we have, we can provide a variety of activities that are stimulating and fun! I can't wait to see you all again" .Jen.

15.01.2022 All systems are go! Looking forward to our new Day Program starting tomorrow. The Houses look amazing, lots of activities ready to go! See you there! We have a couple more vacancies so its not too late to book.

13.01.2022 Our Day Program is still running. Because our services do not contain more than 5 people in each service, we are not required to shut down. However, just to be sure, we want to let everyone know that we have done everything to ensure that transmission is minimal. Our cars are continually sanitized on the inside. All staff are wearing masks and face shields, and intensive sanitizing is occurring at all services. Staff living in the Baw Baw Shire and those living in the lock-down suburbs are also being tested. Again, we are doing everything we can to ensure that we are not placing any Participants or staff at risk. We will continue to update information as it comes to hand. Stay safe everyone!

Erin is passionate about her job, and cannot imagine not being a carer. Erin strives to ensure that our clients receive the best ever support. Erin tells me that she wants to make sure that people living with disability are always treated with respect, and are heard. Respite Care to Erin means providing a resort like ambience where clients direct the activities they want to be involved with. Respite Care at DESS goes over and above. If you have a family member that may benefit from some Respite, speak with us now.

06.01.2022 We are please to announce that our Day Services and Respite Services are still operational as we are not in the COVID effected areas. We will continue with our strict regime of sanitising and face shields. We are doing everything we can to ensure we can keep the COVID away!!!

04.01.2022 We had lunch here on Friday. We meant to post how lovely the customer service was and how disability friendly. Access both outside and inside was great. Will definately return again.
