23.01.2022 House Fire Warning! Unfortunately, we get to see a lot of bad things day to day but today we saw something that you probably never imagined could be a problem, so we thought it might be worth sharing with you. We are warned about house fire risks caused by fireplaces, electricity etc but never heard of this one until today. One of our clients are lucky they were home and this never took hold. The culprit? A makeup mirror that magnified sunshine through a window and directed t...he suns rays at a pair of Ugg boots (like you start a fire with a magnifying glass). Also lucky that wool cannot support a flame, thats why aircraft and cinemas have woollen carpet etc (did you know that?). We think its worth sharing as a warning to ladies out there (oh and some guys sorry) to make sure that these mirrors are away from sunlight even in a Tassie winter. At least we are only doing odour there now and not a fire cleanup. Keep safe! See more

22.01.2022 Another Disaster! While these homeowners were on holidays for 7 weeks the hot water cylinder burst under the house! They came home to this smelly, wet home. Its now back to normal and looking like new. We have the gear and certified skills to deal with any disaster fast!

19.01.2022 Devastating effects of water damage. Left too long. What starts off as a small problem can lead to this which is a major problem now and will need extensive restoration/rebuilding. It is now a very toxic environment. Water damage is an easy fix if you get to it quickly and if its done correctly, even if it looks dry to the eye there may be moisture lurking where you cant see it but we can with our thermal imaging and moisture testing equipment, dont let this happen to you.

13.01.2022 We have been really busy lately dealing with the snow issue in Launceston last month and the storm last night in Burnie! Just a word of warning about wet ceilings and the potential of them falling down when they are wet as you can see in these photos. Our thermal imaging equipment showed a lot of moisture in the ceiling and by the time the insurance company gave us authority to remove it it was too late So again, be careful and if you got any concerns please feel free to call us for advice

13.01.2022 Disaster Master, on the road again. These cold conditions cause pipes to freeze then burst, we will come to your rescue anywhere! The cold snow is also a shocking experience for our company mascot ""Lucy, the chihuahua"" she wasnt impressed at all!

07.01.2022 Checked your flexi pipes lately? These easy hookers are one of our biggest sources of callouts to flooded homes, they have a limited life. Check under your sinks etc for any signs of splits, bulging etc and replace if in doubt, they are a very common problem
