25.01.2022 What a great end of year bus trip to Cherbourg Ration Shed Museum. Participants were from many of the Sunshine Coasts Heritage places and museums. Our manager and one our volunteers went - and pronounced it the best trip so far... sponsored through the Sunshine Coast Council Heritage Levy. Big thanks to auntie Bev Hand for coming on the bus to share some of her life and family stories and an insight into the landscape we travelled through and a connection and an idea of life in the place we travelled to... 08.01.2022 Woohoo our volunteers are off on a steam train trip tomorrow from the historic old railway station in Gympie to Amamoor and back on the Mary Valley Rattler. We will be having lunch at SoMa SoMa Espresso cafe and visiting the fabulous Gympie Regional Gallery. We have the latest leaflets for the Rattler and a whats on guide to the regional gallery - pop in and grab them :-)

02.01.2022 Many will remember our Telephone Exchange project - the exchange housed in the post office was relocated when it closed in 1977 and now lives at Discover Eumundi. In 2018 it was conserved and research was undertaken to find people who had worked as operators over the many years it was in operation.
