19.01.2022 We believe in acknowledging and teaching, through play, the true histories of Australia to promote a sense of understanding, connection and respect for Australia’s First Peoples, and for the land which we learn on and care for. As an organisation, we are committed to raising awareness about reconciliation, with the goal of encouraging all people in the broader community to embrace reconciliation and work towards reparation and healing for the Land’s First Peoples. Today our educational leaders met to share each Centre's journey towards reconciliation, sharing ideas to further empower our educators to embed Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspective in all aspect of the program.

19.01.2022 ! Today marks the start of National Child Protection Week. Putting children first means prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. 05.01.2022 This morning, our leadership team attended a personal development course about the FISH Philosophy. The FISH Philosophy describes four elements of extraordinary customer service and helps to implement them in a workplace. It also teaches us that we dont have to be dead serious about our job and we should look for fun and amusement every time it doesnt interfere with our work. The 4 elements include; Choose your attitude- A positive attitude is our choice Be there- Focus on ...the task youre doing, focus on a person youre trying to help, dont fly away with your thoughts from where you are now Make Their Day- If you do something special for your customers or co-workers, you can be sure that the next time someone will do something good for you Play- As long as you find the pleasure in coming to your work, youll have more enthusiasm, energy and you will be keener to do your best The good thing about this philosophy is that its not only about engaging people and creating positive change in their workplaces, it is also about our daily lives every time we have to deal with something we dislike.
