25.01.2022 This Christmas we’re giving our heart..... In lieu of gifts this Christmas we ask our clients, friends and community to donate to our chosen charity; Roy...al Far West! For all who know me, I grew up in a small town in rural NSW. I have witnessed first hand the positive impact royal far west has had on children and families in my home town alone. Established In 1924 as a summer camp for country kids to escape the harsh outback summers. Today Royal Far West has adapted and continues to grow to meet the needs of rural and remote communities across Australia, with over 75 paediatric specialists supporting children with developmental and health issues such as autism;ADD; behavioural disorders; speech delays: early life trauma and mental health challenges. In the last few year’s especially Australian communities have suffered through drought and fires. Please understand, we didnt wish to abandon anyone when you really needed us!... Team Divas made a whole hearted decision to protect ourselves, and our loved ones, through the battle of COVID-19. We care about our community, and we knew this was the best decision for you and our team. When we watch the news and the distancing rules, the government hasnt really thought about YOU and us, they believe we are essential and I know we are, but not during this pandemic. We cannot possibly distance safely as staff and guests! As a team, we choose to stay unseen, we will be distancing until further developments of COVID-19. Please do not ask a favour of a hair do at home, we are self isolating as a team, to help slow the wretched COVID-19. I hope very soon we will be back, doing what we love, HAIR, laughing and sharing our stories of the time we helped our country by staying home. Please stay safe, look out for each other, protect your families, and if you can, please stay home. It will be easier in the long run for our medical staff and hospitals if we just stay home. The salon will be closed this Saturday 23rd January, to give all staff an extra long weekend, hopefully the girls can catch some sunshine, and enjoy a beautiful weekend with out Covid restrictions!!
